Professionalism and friendliness of the staff

Each of the staff members with whom I dealt was friendly and professional.

Comments about specific instructors or staff members

Beneux was just about perfect as an instructor, and Tucker was wonderfully outgoing and helpful.

Quality of the course curriculum

Excellent. I took your two-day defensive handgun course back in 2011 and thought I had retained most of what I learned. Maybe so, but I hadn't internalized it; and this course really helped with that. The "additional" two days really helped with my "getting" the course content, compared to the two-day course, and the two-day course is great in its own right.

Efficiency, logistics, and administration of the course

Excellent. No issues.

Welcome, sign-in, and weapons inspection on the first morning

Excellent. No issues

Classroom lectures and video presentations

These were generally excellent. I understand why Mayer doesn't talk about disarming the attacker after your after-action drill, but I still disagree — I think you should move any weapon away from your attacker as a precaution.

Pro shop staff, inventory, and efficiency

I didn't deal with the Pro Shop during this course.

Physical facilities

Even though not much seems to have changed since Fall 2011, the Front Sight facility is still very impressive. Job well done.
